Manager, PeopleSoft General Ledger & Accounts Payable Systems

Manage operations of the general ledger department and ensure a smooth financial closing processDevelop and continually improve all GL and AP functionality and reporting capabilitiesManage the implementation of related financial systems including modifications and upgradesCoordinate general ledger conversions of acquired companiesEnsure data integrity of GL interfaces and identify areas for improvementAct as a liaison between IS and finance on system development projects and problem resolutionsProvide tools to efficiently access information and the ability to better analyze resultsDevelop and implement policies and practices to streamline reporting and improve performanceOngoing development to understand available technologies to identify redundancy, conflicts and opportunitiesDocument procedures of key activities to ensure the ongoing development of a fully cross trained department
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Systems preferredMinimum 10 to 15 years of related accounting, system development and project management experienceKnowledge of PeopleSoft GL systems strongly desiredCustomer service focus requiredStrong communication skillsProven people skills, ability to influence management and work with employees at all levelsStrong PC skills ?Excel, Access preferredProven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasksProven ability to maintain information in the strictest confidence
