Manager, Operational Risk Management

The Advisory Services team strives to help the federal government improve on both regulatory demands and their strategic approach to performance and risk management. Professionals are able to provide relevant industry and functional skills where they need them most. We are currently seeking a Manager to join us in our Federal Advisory Services Operational Risk Management Practice in the Washington, DC office.Operational Risk Management (ORM) Services professionals assist our clients as they work to improve business performance and manage risk. ORM focuses on physical operations such as manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management. Our team of professionals performs reviews of operations, identifying and assessing opportunities for improvement in process, organization, technology risks and control.
Responsibilities:
Support business process improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean techniques

Participate and lead data gathering and analysis teams

Contribute to senior client relationships and interactions independently

Produce written reports, summaries, progress reports and presentations in support of project/program objectives

Give verbal client presentations on findings and conclusions

Conduct independent research in support of program objectives

Lead and grow significant ORM Lean Six Sigma engagements in Intelligence and other cluster accounts, as designated; committing to annual targets

Assist in the recruitment and development of the team

Adopt the role of performance manager for a small team
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Three years of related work experience including leading and/or delivering advisory services to federal or large, complex, and multi-location entities. Projects should include a variety of financial, logistic and acquisition management disciplines

MBA or Master's degree in either Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics or other related study from an accredited college/university

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt qualification

Working knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intel community, as well as, supply chain operations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Possess an active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one

Experience with process improvement techniques and analytical tools in at least one reference-able client location

Experience in change management
