Reports to: Director-Measures

Duties:

The candidate will assist in the development of the company’s key performance measures and annual plans involving capacity, volume and forecasting. Position is responsible for the design, development and analysis of the measures to support the Finance, Marketing and Transportation organizations. Position will lead team effort with multiple departments to develop action plans and reports to better quantify improvement opportunities. Position is involved in the production of daily, monthly and ad hoc analysis and reports. This position works closely with Marketing, Operations, Fleet Management, Business Units, Information Systems, Service Design, and other internal groups.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering. Familiarity with TSS data and knowledge of Marketing or railroad operations. Two to three year's experience in mainframe programming, Data Warehouse knowledge, WebFocus, GIS, Web Development, .NET, TSO/JCL, and SAS is preferred. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to carry out self-directed analysis using analytical tools and methods. Must have strong communication skills and be able to handle multiple projects concurrently. Individual should be analytical and deadline oriented.
