Manager, Market Facing Technology

We are currently seeking a Manager to join us in our Montvale office.
Responsibilities:

Lead tax system implementation projects through various phases of system lifecycle

Coordination with the technology project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle

Gather and manage business requirements for development, including functional specifications and control requirements

Create test scripts

Facilitate user acceptance testing

Manage user training and implementation

Design the system maintenance plan

Maintain ongoing client communications, including status meetings and problem resolution sessions

Create and maintain project deliverables

Manage and develop staff level team members

Provide billing information and billing and collection assistance

Synthesize client information and create clear, concise and complete business and functional requirements for assigned projects

Document and effectively communicate detailed technical material by scaling communications to target audiences
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

BA or BS degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a similar area from an accredited college/university

Five years of experience in corporate tax accounting

Five years of project management experience

Able formulate services that address client problems

Able to identify needs for additional tax or technology experience

Proficiency with income tax and accounting concepts and calculations, including federal and state FAS 109 provisions, deferred taxes, and tax contingency accountingKPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
