We are currently seeking a KPMG ForensicSM Manager to join us in our Dallas office.KPMG ForensicSM professionals assist organizations in their efforts to achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing controls and programs to address these risks.Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate large-scale, multi-jurisdictional investigations
Supervise and manage a professional team with backgrounds ranging from accounting to law enforcement
Analyze audit procedures and the company’s accounting procedures and control environment that deal with an organizations possible exposure to fraudulent financial reporting
Perform financial statement analysis and develop recommendations
Summarize, analyze, and prepare analysis reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner
Interact with and interview clients and other external sources for the purpose of obtaining relevant information and documents
Evaluate internal control structures and data to help identify weaknesses and associated risks, and make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks
Evaluate the general risk faced by the client in a particular industry, and the impact of those risks on an organization
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Five years of experience in auditing and accounting, including Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting
Three years of previous financial investigative experience
Advanced understanding in one or more of the following: sophisticated accounting transactions, the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate filings, or financial statements
Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment
Excellent business development skills
Able to produce grammatically correct written technical reports
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to manage multiple engagements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university
CPA or CFE
