BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Inventory accounting, reporting and analysis for the Lenox Wholesale business ($220 million in sales and $123 million in cost of sales) and Direct Mail Business ($102 million in sales and $32 million in cost of sales). Primary responsibility for setting standard costs for Sourced Products purchased through the Rockblocks System in all Channels – Wholesale, Retail, Direct. Establishment of controls and implementation of systems for an average of $107 million of inventory.
One direct report. Also works closely with the Retail Inventory Control Manager.
Act as lead Finance team member responsible for costing of sourced product. Month-end accounting for inventory, inventory-related accruals and intransit inventories for selected businesses. Development, implementation and monitoring of procedures relating to the accounting for movement of inventory. Day to day management of inventory systems projects and enhancements.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2-3 years experience in public accounting or 4-6 years equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis and budgeting
Demonstrated computer and systems knowledge and database skills – Excel, Microsoft Access
Effective oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Requirements:
CPA, Public Accounting - Manufacturing/Wholesale clients
Exposure to Crystal Reports report writing tool
Inventory experience
