Manager Internal Controls & Policies

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $100,000 per year International medical testing company seeks a Manager of Internal Controls and Policies to become and internal consultant to the financial areas of the company. Position duties will include designing internal controls and compliance tests to confirm the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting. Create internal control assessment matrices and provide guidance for remediation of deficiencies. Track, aggregate and evaluate financial impact of deficiencies across the organization. Develop recommendations to enhance internal controls and achieve compliance with Sections 302 and 404. Oversee the performance of internal control testing. Communicate effectively with senior management regarding status of compliance efforts and remediation of deficiencies. Work closely with Big 4 audit firms engaged to assist in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Supervise individuals to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. Oversee implementation of technical solutions to reduce compliance costs including continuous monitoring tools, enterprise content management systems and risk management software.
