PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently looking for individuals with strong IT audit backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of top-tier clients. Responsibilities include developing work plans and project approaches in the financial audit context and/or consulting world, analyzing state of the art client server systems and multi-platform systems while providing detailed reports on the vulnerabilities of these systems to our clients. You will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing Assurance practice methodology to assess our client's operations. This will include risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, and focused reviews of information systems. You will be responsible for conveying solutions to our client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and presentations, supervising staff, and continuing client satisfaction. As a manager, you will also be responsible for supervising, coaching, developing and leading teams and individual team members.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
4 year degree required, CPA/CISA a plus
Bachelor's degree in accounting with additional courses in information technology or computer science idealEssential Requirements:
Big 4 experience a plus, +7 yrs experience
Familiarity with mainframe, client server security and controls issues, SAP, Unix, Windows NT, and/or networks
Strong oral and written communication skills
Commitment to exceptional client service
Creative problem solving ability and a consultancy mindset
Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity
Ability to interact with various levels of client and Firm management
Flexibility to travel 50%+ out-of-town annually
Must have a mixture of accounting and IT systems audit experience
In addition to IT skills, candidates should have sufficient accounting knowledge/experience to assist in a financial audit capacity
Financial Services experience preferred.
