Manager Financial Services

The Manager Financial Services (MFS) reports directly to the Managing Director (MD). This position is with The Prudential Insurance Company of America in the financial services industry. The MFS is responsible for the recruitment, selection, development, retention & supervision of the Financial Services Associates (FSA). This position has three distinct components:


Serve as the local leader (role model, as well as coach) for the organization's approach to a relationship based , life cycle, sales and advice process.

Participate in regular and targeted training for development of their skills

Personal production by MFS's should be incidental to their primary responsibility of leading the Unit.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attract and recruit new FSA's

Performance Management to develop and retain FSA's

Driving the planning process using the Management Control Plan (MCP)

Compliance

Manage Self Development

Participate in building the Agency
Job Requirements
The MFS is accountable for all staff sales and marketing activities. She/he must follow company rules and regulations and seek approval, as required, in areas such as: marketing materials other than transmittal letters: customer service issues that require opinion or action from Home Office parties: ethics issues involving clients or assigned producers: issues or inquiries from regulatory authorities.
