Manager Financial Policies

Reports to the Director of International Accounting / Policies

Responsible for the development and issuance of accounting policies applicable company wide.

Interprets and amends financial policies as necessary for changes in practices and procedures across the country.

Assists in monitoring the quarterly representation letter and certification process.

Monitors accounting developments initiated by the Financial

Accounting Standards Board, the SEC, the Emerging Issues Task Force and associated accounting bodies.

Assists with the SEC filings and annual report including preparation of certain disclosures.

Assists with resolution of external audit issues.

May participate in the most complex accounting projects and transactions.
REQUIREMENTS
Typically has 5 - 8 years experience, preferably in public accounting and broad experience in technical accounting.
Bachelors degree in accounting required.
Active CPA certification required.
Masters degree a plus
