Manager - Financial Controls & Compliance

General Summary
In this role you will be part of the Campbell Soup Global Sarbanes-Oxley Program Management Office (SOX PMO) responsible for managing specific elements of the Company's efforts to fully comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002. You will serve as the central point of contact for achieving SOX PMO's objective to improve the Company's financial policies and compliance efforts. You will liaison with cross-functional leaders and managers throughout the Company, as well as with external auditors, regarding financial controls & compliance.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide on-going SOX program support to the Functional Business Units (FBU's) for Campbell (40%)
Identify and work to implement improved company policies (30%)
Serve as a subject matter expert when questions regarding financial controls & compliance arise (e.g., how to handle new system implementations from a financial controls & documentation perspective, evaluating the sufficiency of documentation, etc.) (13%)
Deliver financial controls & compliance training to the various FBU's (10%)
Monitor & report control gaps and work with the FBU to ensure timely resolution (5%)
Coordinate with assigned FBU(s) to ensure program deadlines are achieved (2%)
Job Complexity

Ensure successful execution of phase 2 of the Control Self Assessment (CSA) program
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Minimum education required: Undergraduate Accounting Degree, CPA Required
Education preferred: CIA or CMA
Minimum Experience: 9-10 yearsQualifications
Strong knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and subsequent guidance.
Proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, as well as sound internal control principles along with demonstrated ability to provide solutions to control issues.
Related business, accounting and finance experience, including internal audit and/or public accounting background required.
Proven ability to work both individually and within a team environment, build strong relationships and maintain rapport with cross-functional Business and Corporate teams.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Ability to manage details on multiple concurrent tasks while meeting various deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs.
