Manager, Finance and Accounting

-Be the financial leader of a $35M annual operation with two separate business/units (Retail Services & Inflight Catering)within one facility
-Establish analytical systems and processes that provide timely and useful information to operations management (labor control, etc.)
-Own monthly accounting process, meeting all corporate and sector reporting requirements and deadlines.
-Develop P&L variance analyses that allow process improvements to increase the performance of the facility.
-Develop and assume ownership of effective internal audit procedures which ensure unit compliance to accounting policies and procedures such as accuracy of the payroll, A/R, A/P, purchasing, receiving, and reconciliation.
Identify barriers to achieve vision goals and offer solutions to resolve barriers identified.
-Act as the lead IS contact/support for all applications (e.g. LINK, LAWSON, KRONOS, AND CODA).
-Prepare and analyze annual budget, operating and capital budgets, monthly P&L, forecasts and customer profitability reports.
-Monitor daily performance, analyze operating results, and make recommendations that will improve performance.
-Drive the manpower planning and OT control process.
-Serve as a liaison between facility, sector, and Headquarters.
-Assume a leadership role on the Business Improvement Team (BIT).
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, CPA or MBA a plus
5-7 years of applicable management experience, including operational
Some Retail experience a plus
Highly developed analytical & quantitative skills
High work standards, results oriented, problem solver
Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis techniques and evidence of breakthrough performance
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word)
Proven ability to quickly learn key operating system; expertise with existing internal systems a plus (e.g., Lawson, LINK, Kronos, CODA, SMART, Essbase)
