Manager Finance, TV Productions Accounting

Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: Interviews, hires and trains Production Accounting Support personnel in Vista, credit application processing, general accounting principles, Pcard/SPA administration, and NBCU policies & procedures
Manages a staff of four who provide support to production accountants and the editorial/wrap department by inputting P.O.s, invoices, journal entries, and Pcard envelopes, as well as opening up all accounts with vendors, paying and tracking of facility rentals, and drafting approval authorities for the audit dept.
Pcard and SPA Program Administrator that entails the setting up of Pcard and Travel accounts, reconciling the NUTS Employees Pcard account, auditing the ACH debit lists for payment of accounts, calculating cash flows and accruals at quarter close.
Drafts the Credit Applications, Pcard and SPA sections of the NBCU TV Studios Production Accounting Manual.
Office manager Production Accounting Support-Post/Wrap offices.
Work on ad hoc analysis/projects as assigned~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related area
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance
Knowledge of Vista Accounting software; emphasis on A/P, P.O., and JE systems
Prior experience managing large corporate credit card payment systemsEligibility Requirements:

Prior experience in developing and writing policies and procedures for purchasing cards
Prior experience with Vista Accounting software
Prior experience with electronic card payment programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Resourceful, creative, independent and ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management team
