Sensing and Control is currently looking for a finance leader to team with our global sales organization to help drive growth.



Responsibilities:
Business partner for the Sensing & Control VP Sales and the global sales leadership team.
Perform complex analysis on a variety of financial matters that will provide proper direction to the sales function.
Financial modeling and analysis to simulate the effects of alternatives and assumptions made.
Coordinate financial matters that need input from a broad spectrum of people in both the business and finance organization.
Proactively drive business processes that will limit risk and achieve desired financial goals.
Able to address financial matters within the business that may arise and seek counsel with other finance partners in establishing appropriate actions to take.
Implement the financial requirements of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Strategic Planning (STRAP), Monthly Ops Review (MOR) and Monthly Management Review (MMR) processes for the Sales function.
Help drive growth by analyzing sales data and identifying opportunities with the sales leadership team.
Manage and monitor budgets globally for the sales function
Monitor NBO deck to ensure growth projections can be met
Partner with finance team members in other regions and travel to regions as required to learn the organizations and understand the finance support systems in place
Create platform for global "dashboard" on sales performance.
Perform complex analysis on the data to provide recommendations on how to improve performance or areas to be worked.


Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:


BS in Accounting or Finance.


7-10 years of increasingly responsible experience in Finance


Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at senior management levels


Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills.


Global mindset


Ability to travel at least 25% of the time



Additional Qualifications:


MBA/CPA/CMA highly preferred.


Financial planning and analysis and experience with sales functions strongly preferred.


Ability to develop strong partnership/teambuilding relationships with all functional organizations.


Results oriented, able to lead and drive change.


Attention to detail but able to see the big picture with good business acumen.


Good oral and written communication skills.

Company Overview

Honeywell can trace its roots back to 1885, when an inventor named Albert Butz patented the furnace regulator and alarm. He formed the Butz Thermo-Electric Regulator Co., Minneapolis, on April 23, 1886, and a few weeks later invented a simple, yet ingenious device that he called the "damper flapper."


Here's how it worked. When a room cooled below a predetermined temperature, a thermostat closed the circuit and energized an armature. This pulled the stop from the motor gears, allowing a crank attached to the main motor shaft to turn one-half revolution. A chain connected to the crank opened the furnace's air damper to let in air. This made the fire burn hotter. When the temperature rose to the preset level, the thermostat signaled the motor to turn another half revolution, closing the damper and damping the fire. The temperature correction was automatic. Over the years, many Honeywell products have been based upon similar, but more complicated closed-loop systems.
