Manager - Economic & Valuation Services

We currently seek a Manager to join us in our Silicon Valley office.KPMG's Economic and Valuation Services (EVS) can help companies address the complexities that arise from doing business across the street or around the world. We strive to help arm companies with the knowledge needed to compete effectively in the global marketplace. EVS offers a broad range of transfer pricing services - including compliance, planning and controversy work. EVS also assists companies, as they work to meet their business objectives, by providing economic and business analyses, industry and market research, database development, statistical analysis and valuations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver valuation services in an assigned geographic area

Supervise and mentor staff

Maintain high levels of staff utilization

Assist in business development efforts
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Five years of experience with advisory related projects, in valuations, with an audit, tax and advisory firm

Experience with: valuations of business entities and intangible assets, purchase price allocations, analyzing goodwill and long lived asset impairment, supporting a company’s value for bidding or asking price plans, litigation support and financial analysis and research

Understanding of the capital markets

Effective written and verbal communication skills, solid analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment
