Manager, Database & Analytical Marketing-Boston, MA

A leading provider of news and information for the global forest products industry which publishes websites, newsletters, magazines, reports, databases and more, is looking for a Manager of Database & Analytical Marketing who will report to the VP of Marketing.

We are looking for someone who is smart, curious, organized and results-oriented. Above all, we are looking for someone who has the potential to be a star in our organization.

Responsibilities:

Own the marketing, sales and customer databases
Improve the quality of data
Identify and manage system improvements
Handle reporting and analysis for the marketing and sales groups
Identify marketing and sales opportunities by analyzing customer and prospect data
Search engine marketing
Manage the integration of marketing efforts with sales, including processes for lead generation, qualification and management
Work with Operations to manage fulfillment
Select and create lists for use in product and segment promotions
Supervise one marketing analyst

REQUIREMENTS
4-7 years direct or database marketing experience
Strong analytical skills
Ability to write database queries (Access or SQL)
Experience with CRM systems
Experience working with a sales organization
Supervisory experience
