The purpose of this position is to plan and implement a comprehensive, ongoing, strategic communications program that, through the issuance of guidance
pertaining to independence policies, systems and procedures, helps all partners and personnel maintain personal and professional independence with respect to the Firm’s audit clients and their affiliates.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BSc/B.Comm.) or equivalent Minimum five to eight years experienceEssential Requirements:
Manage independence internal communications for US P&C and Global (J Korbel).
Work with numerous partners and professionals in the Independence organization
to draft, review, and distribute independence
communications, including guidance pertaining to independence policies,
systems, organization and procedures. Develop, manage, and implement comprehensive communications plans for independence policy & consulting activities, such as contributing to the
Annual Compliance Confirmations and Mandatory Annual Independence
Training Programs. Plan and coordinate major global (J Korbel) independence and compliance internal communications. Manage the PwC Independence Policies database, including overseeing technical design and development and
coordinating with designated content managers globally. Manage and oversee the global independence website on KnowledgeCurve2. Review and edit various independence P&C internal documents and work products, such as training materials
and user manuals. Liaise with network of PwC communications professionals in the US and globally. Utilize broad array of
firm-wide communications channels and vehicles. Manage several key Lotus Notes databases and repositories used by Independence personnel globally. Supervise staff (direct and indirect), including proofreading and monitoring their work product.
