Manager, Audit Services

We are currently seeking a Manager to join our Audit Services team in the Richmond office.KPMG's Audit practice uses a methodology that transforms the audit process from a traditional compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to assess how a client's business risks affect financial statements. This approach offers a more comprehensive view of how a client's unique risk environment affects its financial reporting.
Responsibilities:

Plan, execute and manage external audit engagements for both large and small clients

Manage and review work of staff on respective engagements

Interact closely with client management and work closely with the Partners on client and audit team matters

Plan staffing needs for engagements

Understand, utilize, and train staff on KPMG's audit methodology
Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Audit managerial experience

Strong experience with, and knowledge of, the healthcare industry

Strong experience with, and knowledge of, public companies and strong knowledge of Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations

Five years of experience in public accounting or comparable internal bank audit experience

BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or a related field
