Manager, Accounts Receivable

Manage all aspects of the Accounts Receivable Department,
including Pharmacy 3rd party AR.
Oversee the Lawson Accounts Receivable System to ensure accurate reporting and recording of all receivables.
Review and approve all promo allowances booked by the company, verifying legitimacy and determine whether they are earned.
Book EITF 02-16 Inventory Capitalization entry every month.
Ensure all receivables are at an acceptable level to help in the
optimization of working capital.
Review all AR account analyses monthly and submit to Corporate
Accounting for consolidation.
Supervise and develop staff.
Other duties as assigned

Must be able to handle a high volume of work and be able to multitask.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and guide staff to do the same.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Must be motivated to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
associated with the department.
REQUIREMENTS
Accounting or Finance Degree.
Knowledge of Lawson Financial Applications.
Proficiency in Excel, FOCUS, Lotus Notes and ReportSafe.
2-3 years previous accounting experience in a supervisory role.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
