This is a hands-on role responsible for timely preparation of consolidated and divisional financial statements. This position is also responsible for supervision of general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable/grants management functions within the Department of Medicine. The Manager will act as a primary liaison between the Department of Medicine and UPC Finance Staff for all financial statement issues.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: BS/BA in Accounting A MUST; 5-7 years in financial accounting, prefer experience in physician practice finance; advanced knowledge of financial accounting, budgetary principles and practices including the ability to prepare, interpret and analyze financial statements; strong computer skills to include proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software packages (preferably Peachtree Complete and Lawson); strong software implementation and project management abilities; and excellent interpersonal, customer service & time-management skills. 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
