Manage the day to day accounting processes for several CTG Ag and Energy businesses and develop monthly and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for these businesses. Ensure SOX compliance for multiple businesses, including two bio-energy start-up businesses. Assist with monitoring and controls for offices in Tulsa, OK, Australia, and Mexico.-Direct management of three to four employees
Guide daily and monthly accounting processes, such as month-end close, for Trading and Merchandising businesses
Drive reporting consistencies and improvements across multiple businesses
Manage quarterly requirements, such as reporting and system security
Lead accounts receivable system analysis and potential replacement
Assist with set-up of new bio-energy and vegetable oil business
Work directly with local business Controllers in Mexico and Australia to ensure appropriate controls are in place and in compliance to US GAAP
Assist with critical assessment and monitoring of internal controls to ensure continued SOX compliance across Trading & Merchandising businesses
Participate in and support initiatives and projects as needed-Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
Large organization/corporate ($1+ billion in sales) experience. Trading & Merchandising industry experience preferred.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of accounting/ financial analysis experience.
At least 2 years in managing teams or leading projects.
Two years audit experience a plus.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely in both oral and written formats.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently with a sense of urgency.
Ability to scope, plan, and administer reporting process for continuous improvement
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
