RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop forecast and budget comparisons, profit analysis, and other business reports and on-line views to meet management, sales, marketing and finance needs.

Analyze system data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information available to the end user. Review financial system controls and procedures.

Contribute to the Strategic planning of reporting system developments and enhancements. Evaluate current systems ability to meet the reporting needs of the organization. Make recommendations to improve and expand upon current systems.

Manage a department function with staff positions. Assign and delegate work activities. Coach, train and evaluate staff. Analyze and adjust work procedures for maximum departmental efficiency.

Participate, manage, and lead project teams and activities as assigned.

Liaise between finance and IT functions to ensure financial information is delivered as efficiently as possible.

Identify projects that would enhance the management reporting function (KPIs, scorecards, etc.). Plan, manage, and implement projects using internal and sometimes external resources.

Be able to review and post entries influencing the product reporting database and general ledger as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
•Minimum 5 years related experience in an accounting/finance environment.
•Ability to conceptualize and think creatively
•Team Leadership capabilities
•Knowledge of financial applications and systems required.
•Essbase knowledge a plus.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Project management experience preferred.
