Management Analyst/Accounting and Grants Administration

(NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest Management and Technology Consulting companies dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.The BearingPoint Healthcare practice is currently searching for Management Analyst.Preference will be given to candidates local to our Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA office.This position is a Management Analyst level position in to our Academic Grants and Higher Education group. Management Analyst will be expected to take on various task including financial analysis, cost accounting and grants administration consulting service to Higher Education and Academic Medical Center clients.Required skills:
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite of products.
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
A minimum of 1 years of financial, cost accounting and/or public accounting/ audit backgroundÂ
1 year experience with one or more of the following areas: cost reimbursement, regulatory compliance, research administration, accounting operations, performance management; revenue cycle.Preferred Skills:

Preference for experience within Higher Education, Academic Medical Centers, and / or Public Services industries
Â
Accounting degree, CPA preferred
. The ability to multi-task and deliver consulting services to multiple clients concurrently and a strong customer service orientation also required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
