MEDICAL BILLING STAFF NEEDED!

EXPERIENCE & BASIC ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED...............

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE REPRESENTATIVE: Process primary and secondary insurance claims for designated carrier. Review billing edits and provide insurance company with corrected information. Research accounts receivable and monitor status of accounts. Consult with insurance companies to institute settlement of accounts.

POSTING CLERK: Responsible for posting payments and adjustments from contractual/non-contractual insurance companies and other incoming sources. Initiate paperwork for patient and insurance company refunds. Compile bank deposits for checks received and posted.

CHARGE ENTRY ASSOCIATE: Process/input demographic and charge files through Groupcast interface programs. Maintain translation tables of referring physicians and insurance companies, and assist with translation of CPT/service codes. Assist coders with charge entry of coded services into Groupcast interface database. Perform manual registration of patients and manual charge entry into Groupcast. Correct and repost charges as needed in Groupcast. Independently produce daily charge audits and balance the charge entry work done within the Coding Division.
REQUIREMENTS
ALL POSITIONS: Must be able and willing to handle high demand in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills absolutely required. Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner required.

A/R REPRESENTATIVE: Solid knowledge of medical insurance with strong knowledge of CPT and ICD9 coding. Minimum 2 years prior medical A/R experience.

POSTING CLERK: Prior experience in A/R and payment posting. Familiarity with CPT codes and EOB's. Strong research and analytical skills. Strong data entry skills.

CHARGE ENTRY ASSOCIATE: Associates degree in accounting or related medical field preferred. 3-5 years of previous medical A/R follow-up experience required. Previous experience with charge and demographic interfaces from foreign sources. Knowledge of the IDX Groupcast Practice Management system. Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD9 coding.
