MANAGER, CUSTOMER FINANCIAL SERVICES, DIGITAL MEDIA

Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: Responsible for credit research, collection, cash application activities and account maintenance related to iVillage receivables for ad sales, sponsorships, consultants, subscriptions and promotions.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Credit
Perform credit research on new customers.
Monitor existing customers' adherence to payment terms and/or changes in financial stability, and re-evaluate credit terms accordingly.
Support Sales organization on Credit and Collection Policies and maintain excellent communication on all issues relating to effective customer set-up, credit terms, billing, and discrepancy resolution.Collections
Support Manager, CFS iVillage in daily collection calls. Maintain record of all non-standard contractual payment terms and due dates.
Apply cash. Process refunds. Reconcile cash-in-advance accounts. Process journal entries.
Establish strong rapport with customers as well as internal finance and sales organizations.
Facilitate the resolution of discrepancies with customer and Sales Department.
Daily interaction with iVillage Sales Departments with respect to improving collections and enforcement of credit and collection policies.

Qualifications: Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree (Business, Finance and/or Accounting preferred).
Minimum 1 year experience in cash/collectionsEligibility Requirements:

Strong financial and accounting background. Detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work w/ all levels of management.
Knowledge of digital or television media a plus.
Resourceful problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
Proficient in excel and power point.
