As a Loss Mitigation Specialist, you will be responsible for the follows:


40% - Answer incound calls and make outbound calls on seriously delinquent accounts in foreclosure or loss mitigation to make contact and determine necessary actions.

30% - Correspond with customers, brokers, title companies and attorneys in order to facilitate delinquency and problem resolution through contact attempt, consultation, research and collection efforts.

20% - Pre-qualify and place customers on work-out plans such as re-instatements, payoffs and payment plans.

10% - Discuss advanced work-out options including short sales, deeds-in-lieu and modifications as well as make all necessary systems modifications and documentation.



REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required; College a plusMinimum two years collection, customer service, or other mortgage experience. Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Effective listening, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.Good oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently or within a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
