Support Financial Planning And Analysis Processes With Analytical Insight On Income Statement And Balance Sheet, Providing Analysis For Actual Data And All Forecasts.
Financial Oversight For A Reinsured LTC Block Of Business With An Experience Refund Structure, Including All Forecasts, Quarter End Activities And Any Ad Hoc Requests.
Responsible For Quarter End And Planning Preparation And Analysis For Invested Assets
Responsible For Various Quarterly Close Activities & Analysis Deliverables Such As Variance Explanations And Key Metric Analysis (Both GAAP And STAT)
Work As Part Of Team To Build Operating Plans/Forecasts (E.G., MYP & Rolling 8-Quarter)
Modify And Develop Financial Models To Analyze Financial Profitability And Business Trends (Both GAAP And STAT)
Apply Financial Analysis, Six Sigma Tools & Digitization For Forecasting & Closing Process Simplification And Growth.
Prepare Presentations Of Analytical Results For Senior Leadership.
Aid In Driving Improved Interaction Between FP&A, Controllership HQ Functions.Basic Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree With Min 5-7 Years Of Relevant Experience
Excellent Analytical; Financial Analysis Skills
Solid Application Of Technical Accounting And Financial Analysis
*Strong Project And Process Management Skills
Knowledge Of Both GAAP And STAT Accounting/Reporting
Strong Excel, Oracle, OFA, Discoverer, Powerpoint, MS Access And/Or Database Skills, General PC SkillsPreferred Candidate Qualifications:
