Junior Accountant, King of Prussia

A large company in King of Prussia is looking for an organized, ambitious, Junior Accountant that is looking for a great opportunity to succeed!!

The Junior Accountant prepares month end financials which summarize business activity and financial position in the areas of revenues, rebates and expenses based upon past, present and budgeted numbers. To prepare journal entries to reflect transactions and/or corrections as needed. To prepare all necessary financials reports each month prior to closing the general ledger. This is a temporary to permanent position.

Duties include:

*To post journal entries to the general ledger as needed.

*Assist the CFO in preparing for the annual financial audit.

*Oversee the monthly cash reconciliation between cash receipts per General ledger with bank statement. Investigate any differences and making any correcting entries.

*Prepare monthly expense analysis, investigating large amounts, and explaining major variances. As needed, to draft correcting journal entries to the general ledger.
REQUIREMENTS
*College degree.
*At least 2 years accounting experience.
*Well-organized and able to adhere to directions.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills.
