Junior Accountant / HR Associate

Brown Advisory is currently seeking a full time Jr. Accountant in our Fell's Point, Maryland office.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to assisting the Controller and Sr. Accountant, preparing letters and spreadsheets, processing invoices, filing, preparing monthly journal entries, distributing documents, processing semi-monthly payroll, maintaining account and benefit reconcilations, mailing correspondence, fielding employee inquiries, answering phones and assisting with various human resource duties. REQUIREMENTS


To qualify candidates must possess the following:Four year degree (required)Strong multi-tasking skills1 year of accounts payable experienceHighly organized1 year of payroll processing experienceStrong work ethicAbility to deal with highly confidential informationProven administrative skillsAbility to interact well with othersWorks well under pressureProficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to provide superior customer serviceSuperior written and oral communication skillsPleasant phone mannerAttention to detail a MUST
In addition to the above skills, interested applicants must conduct themselves in a highly professional manner. Prior experience with Great Plains and ADP software is considered beneficial.
