Jr Accountant Project

Classification: Temporary Compensation: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour Financial company needs Jr. level Accountant to assist with conversion to Peachtree Accounting software. The candidate would be responsible for entering invoices, setting-up accounts and transferring information. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of debits and credits as well as an understanding of the flow of accounts and reporting. Some Excel is required, and Peachtree experience would be nice, but is unnecessary as long as the candidate has used another accounting package. This is a temp position for as long as it takes to get the job done (approximately 4 weeks) and if the person has bank reconciliation/month end skills etc, it could go longer. Data Entry speed does not matter as this is not a data entry job. candidates should have at least 2+ years of accounting experience. This job is for someone who won't hesitate to jump in and do the work.The pay rate will be $14-16 and the position is in Atlanta at the intersection of Windy Hill and Powers Ferry Roads.All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
