Jr. Accountant

SUMMARY:
Americas Jr. Accountant shall participate and assist in all aspects of Infovista Corporation (IVSA wholly owned subsidiary) accounting operations. Including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Expense reimbursement processing, various month end reports, journal entry processing and ad hoc projects.

DUTIES:
Americas Jr. Accountant main tasks shall involve;

Accounts Receivables, including booking customer invoices managed by parent company, collections, cash receipts and maintaining an updated accounts receivable schedule.

Expense Reimbursement, including understanding company travel policy, review and processing of expense reimbursements maintaining an updated reimbursement schedule and journal entries.

Accounts Payable including vendor invoice validation, ensuring proper approval and matching PO, expense classification, processing and payment.

Maintenance of fixed asset ledger, processing of new assets and assist with annual inventory.

In addition to the day to day work, the Americas Jr. Accountant shall be responsible for assisting with miscellaneous tax issues and filings, processing monthly journal entries and various duties around the month end close including preparing various reports such as travel analysis, recruiting fees, referral fees, sending out individual sales reports, data entry, filing and various ad hoc analysis and projects.
REQUIREMENTS
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge

Proficient in the use of Great Plains accounting software (preferred)

Highly proficient user of Excel and Word

QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelors Degree in Accounting (preferred)

1-3 years related Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable experience

Fast learner and ability to work independently

French speaking (preferred)
