As the Investigator/Auditor in the Global Security Division in Southeastern United States, you will manage and enforce Compliance Initiatives required under the Prescription Drug Marketing Act Law (PDMA) including: managing, conducting and coordinating Sample Accountability Audits, both Random and For Cause, with ABDs, AADs and DMs involving scheduling and completing sample accountability audits of sales personnel within your assigned geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR), conducting confidential and/or sensitive PDMA violation investigations and insuring need to know personnel are kept briefed and updated on the investigation's status, and preparing and submitting detailed reports of investigations and audits; managing audit and investigating caseload averaging 20 items per month, inclusive of liaison visits, Plan of Action (POA) briefing and training programs within AOR; managing the scheduling and conduct of quarterly training and briefings of sales force personnel (Area and District) during POA meetings (briefings and training subjects pertain to Wyeth and PDMA compliance requirements and the sample accountability audit/security program); managing an individual annual budget of $18,000.00 for investigative travel, sample audit related travel, home office supplies equipment and POA briefing/training travel; managing liaison activities within geographical AOR by scheduling appropriate liaison with State and Federal Law Enforcement/Regulatory Agencies, i.e., Local and State Police as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Food & Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigations (FDAOCI) and tracking and monitoring State Legislative activities pertaining to areas of interest to Wyeth, primarily through routine visits to State Board of Pharmacies; and maintaining statistical data on workload, investigations, pro-active initiatives and budget expenditures.
This position requires a four year degree from an accredited university, with a major in a business related field or Administration of Justice and five years experience in handling audits/investigative matters in a law enforcement, regulatory or industrial security capacity. A high level proficiency in and knowledge of investigative techniques, basic PC experience and proficiency, excellent report writing skills and auditing methods is required. Excellent oral, written and administrative skills along with the ability to deal effectively with corporate and field sales personnel is also necessary.
