Inventory Cost Accounting & Financial Analyst
Privately owned $20MM revenue manufacturing and delivery company. Operates 19 manufacturing and distribution plants in 4 states, with 145 employees. This position works at headquarters located in Roseville, MN.
Duties: Reports to CFO, but will also interact with, and be assigned projects from time-to-time by, President and COO.
Inventory Cost Accounting-60% if Job Duties
Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete specifically relating to inventory. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Calculate costs of materials, overhead and other expenses, based on estimates, quotations and price lists. Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software. Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data in order to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers and computers.
Financial Analyst-40% of Job Duties
Preparing journal entries, help prepare monthly financial statements (including closing and analysis), maintaining fixed asset records and depreciation schedules (book, tax and AMT), cash management, line of credit and debt liquidity management. Develop and maintain budget projections. Assist in the development of key financial anaylses and financial modeling and support for corporate projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Experience with business accounting software preferred, but not required. Fluent in Word and Excel. Experience developing and managing databases in Excel and Access. Must have exceptional verbal and writing skills.
Must be a self-starter, with initiative to discover work/analysis that should be done, and the desire to do that new work/analysis. Ability to work alone and in teams. Has capacity for critical thinking--conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating information. Desire and ability to teach accounting, software and computer skills to fellow employees. Must be capable and willing to make lucid, constructive arguments for your way of thinking.
