Inventory Control Analyst
Kaysun Corporation, a TS 16949:2002-certified custom plastic injection molding company headquartered in Manitowoc, WI, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Analyst to manage inventory & inventory control system for accuracy & reporting effectiveness, and direct the daily activities of the Inventory Control Clerk. Reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
Plans, organizes, directs, and manages inventory control activities.
Develops, implements, manages, and monitors inventory reporting systems to effectively control inventory per company requirements.
Oversees the maintenance of daily production data in the computer system, and ensures labor hours are entered into IQMS accurately and in a timely manner.
Manages the disposition of finished goods, work in process, scrap, and surplus raw materials.
Reconciles inventory discrepancies; reviews and documents reasons for discrepancies, and communicates information back to the production reporting area for corrective action to improve inventory accuracy.
Monitors and tracks all warehousing movement between on-site and off-site locations.
Maintains cycle count program, with a target of 98% inventory accuracy.
Analyzes stocking levels to determine optimum raw material, work in process, and finished goods inventory levels to effectively service customers.
Maintains inventory control policies and procedures; identifies training opportunities to improve inventory transaction accuracies and trains Kaysun Corporation personnel on inventory procedures.
Coordinates and manages month-end physical inventory.
Supports and applies Lean Manufacturing principles to inventory control initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Associates degree in Materials Management or related field, a minimum of 5 years inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment, APICS certification, & prior supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong analytical skills are required.
Must also have excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills, and computer proficiency with Excel & Word.
Experience with IQMS or related manufacturing software is also required.
Must be self-directed and be able to work independently.
