International Financial Controller

Purpose:
Summary: Directs financial activities of an organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.

Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs.

Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.

Manage the maintenance of WIP and Construction Job Cost Management.

Experience with the implementation; control and management of Enterprise Job Cost Management Accounting Systems (i.e. CA Job; BIS-Builder Information System; eTEK Accounting; Contractor V Job Cost Accounting or Forefront Construction Management Software.

Prepares industry financial analysis for senior management.

Overall responsibility for month-end close process and consolidated financial reporting to Executive Management for US and International Parent Company.

Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.

Knowledge of GAAP and FASB guidelines and procedures, as well as some experience with IFRS and IAS guidelines and Financial Reporting.

Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.

Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.

Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.

Arranges for audits of company's accounts.

Perform accounting research and document suggested accounting treatments.

Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.

Responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsible for establishing policies and procedures improvement.

Establishes relations with banks and other financial institutions.

Education/Experience:
CPA (Certified Public Accountant)preferred but not required! and (6) six years to (10+) ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

International Financial Experience strongly preferred.

Salary is fully negotiable and based upon experience.
