The Internal Communications Manager for the Metro New York Financial Services Office (FSO) plays a key role in consistently performing, both strategically and tactically, as an extension of the leadership's vision, values and philosophy. They will use their knowledge and skills related to change management communications to support a dynamic, culture change process. They will use online and print vehicles to develop and manage a variety of employee communications, including strategy-support materials, executive and business communications, newsletters, meeting presentations, and website content. This individual will also complete diverse and challenging assignments which may require detailed subject matter knowledge and/or research for specific technical and business areas. Responsibilities: Support culture change management initiatives through creative use of communication methods Build and maintain strong relationships with FSO’s executive level management in order to ensure consistency of leadership's messages across all of FSO's locations and teams. Build understanding and support for FSO's culture change processes and programs. Create or enhance vehicles for vision/knowledge sharing and feedback (e.g., communications surveys, knowledge bases, newsletters, etc.). Guide personnel in consistent usage of the firm's global brand standards in internal communications. Coach individuals on communication style and content (e.g., presentations, written communication, informal interaction, meeting agendas, etc.). Support individual leadership (best practice) behaviors, positively reinforce through interactions, and through sharing successes throughout FSO.. Serve as communications resource for various practice and administrative teams. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, business, liberal arts, journalism, or a related field - Human Resources experience, professional services experience and/or experience in financial services is highly preferred - 6+ years of broad-based experience in marketing and/or communications - Excellent written communication skills, a client service orientation, and strong project management skills - Ability to think strategically, to be flexible and adaptable, and to work with diverse groups in a team environment
