Internal Auditor / Senior Internal Auditor

PharmaNet has an excellent opportunity for an Internal Auditor and a Senior Internal Auditor in our Princeton, NJ headquarters.

Internal Auditor
·Audit the accounting and financial data of various departments within the organization
·Assist in planning and performing financial, operational and compliance audits
·Assist in the preparation of written reports and recommendations on audit findings
·Perform Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 testing
·Perform internal control tests including risk assessment
·Identify and communicate accounting and operational deficiencies and provide recommendation for improvements and efficiencies
·Review and evaluate compliance with financial policies and company procedures


Minimum Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree
·One year of business experience in internal audit or public accounting
·Maintaining or actively pursuing CPA, CIA, CISA, and/or CFE
·Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting
·Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404
·Excellent written and oral communications skills
·Ability and wiliness to travel, as required



Senior Internal Auditor
·Audit the accounting and financial data of various departments within the organization
·Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
·Perform internal control testing including risk assessment
·Perform Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 testing
·Identify and communicate accounting and operational deficiencies and
provide recommendations for improvement
·Participate in and oversee the audit planning, execution and wrap up processes
·Report audit findings, recommendations, management action items and follow up activities to management
·Perform special projects as necessary
·Assist in the establishing and maintaining of departmental standards, e.g., audit planning, documentation, report-writing, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree
·CPA, CIA, CISA, and/or CFE preferred
·Three years of business experience in internal audit or public accounting
·Strong understanding of internal controls over financials reporting and project management skills
·Experience with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance
·Excellent interpersonal skills required
·Excellent written and oral communications skills
·Ability and willingness to travel, as required
