Internal Auditor-Oil and Gas Industry

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $55000.00 to $65000.00 per year Robert Half has partnered with the reputable, privately held Oil and Gas company to start in Internal Audit function. The position will report to the Audit Committee and work closely with the Controller. This is mostly financial, but will also include operational audit. Create and execute audit plans; analyze and assess financial and operational controls and weaknesses to mitigate risk exposure to the Company for its domestic and international operations. The position will report and communicate to the Audit Committee the results of such findings.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement audit plans for specific areas of concern as related by management. Ensure that proper controls exist and are properly communicated to all parties involved.
Document and maintain a policy and procedures manual for critical areas of the company.
Assist in coordinating the annual audit with the outside audit firm.
