Candidate will be given the opportunity to identify, assess, analyze and mitigate some of our clients' most significant risks. The risks will be financial, operational and compliant in nature; however, project work takes on numerous forms. Project work could include involvement on large information technology projects, assessing business continuity issues or analyzing opportunities for improvement in telecommunications spend. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are given the opportunity to interact with senior management on a frequent basis as well as senior individuals from the firm. This client provides team members the opportunity to enhance their skills in all areas technical competency, business development, client service and people development.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree required; CPA preferredEssential Requirements:
Minimum 4 years progressive audit experience (2-3 years internal audit experience preferred) Must have prior experience reviewing client’s order-to-remit (revenue) and order-to-pay (expenditure) processes. Solid understanding of inventory cost accounting and inventory management and control required CPA Perferred (Certified Internal Auditor considered) Attainment of Senior Internal Audit designation or, at a minimum, supervisory experience with audit staff and the performance of concurrent audit engagements Comfortable at dealing effectively with client senior management and/or PwC partners/managers/staff Capable of running internal audit engagements (possibly more than one simultaneously) and supervising staff members Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and willing to "roll-up their sleeves" to get the job done Other required skills: -excellent writing and oral communication skills -comfortable making oral presentations in front of clients and PwC partners/managers/staff -adept at the use of technology (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; ACL & MS Access a plus) This person will have the potential to move into a Manager position with unlimited potential based upon personal development and performance.
