Infrastructure Analyst – Internal AuditNOTE: This position is equivalent to a Paygrade 06 position in Discover Financial Services.Position Description:
Plan and perform information system audits and special reviews for all areas of the Business Technology organization with minimal supervision. This includes supervision of assigned staff and presentation of findings to business unit management to improve controls and efficiencies of the activities reviewed.
Analyze control environment.
Develop and execute tests.
Develop recommendations.
Present findings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business unit and profession.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelors Degree in Business or computer-related field. 2 years, minimum, internal audit work experience (see above description).
Excellent analytical, communication(oral and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills, are required. Knowledge of business risks related to general system controls, systems development and change management, logical access security, local area network concepts, contingency and recovery.DESIRED SKILLS:
Skills Desired:
Working knowledge of Mainframe, Unix and Windows environments, related security risks and controls. Knowledge of RACF
Experience in using software audit tools and security scripts.
CISA, CISSP or other relevant certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) preferred.
Experience in Financial Services or Public Accounting a plus.
