Internal Audit Director

Our client with world wide an operations is looking for a Director of Internal Audit. This high level executive position is responsible for directing a broad comprehensive program of internal auditing in the financial, operational and information systems areas. The function is a main contributor to the corporation’s governance and risk management initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Five to ten years of recent public accounting or internal auditing experience. Preference will be give to the candidate that has worked in as an internal audit manager or out of a Big 4 firm. Additionally, a high degree of professional and technical accomplishment in the audit profession and broad experience in all areas of audit activities is also preferred.

Education:

· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
· Professional certification such as CPA, CIA or CISA
· MBA a plus

Ability to:

· Communicate effectively orally and in writing
· Maintain the security of confidential information
· Maintain a good report with internal and external customers at all levels
· Utilize computers in the audit process
