Responsibilities include:
Verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authori-zation/referrals and entering patient demographics, insurance information and auth/ref into the patient accounting system. Explains potential financial implications and responsibilities for services not covered to the patient. Verifies the front desk has collected patient cost share. Qualifications: Certificate or training in medical terminology preferred, typing/ data entry 35+ wpm. Must be knowledgeable of 3rd party authorization procedures. Must be proficient utilizing a computer and on-line websites regarding insurance verification and authorization processes. Must be bilingual/Spanish. MARS a big plus! We offer an excellent salary and benefits package including 401K & 4 weeks PTO.
