Insurance Analyst

Cornerstone Companies (Cornerstone), registered investment advisors for high net worth, privately held business owners, wealthy families and institutional clients, is located in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. The firm specializes in providing sophisticated open architecture asset management platforms, business succession and estate planning services, life insurance sales and compensation and benefits consulting.

General Position Summary:

Provide high quality insurance services to ultra high net worth clients by supporting the Advanced Design Team and by fulfilling client and shareholder’s requests.

Essential Functions/Major Duties:

A.Prepare Insurance Illustrations for new and existing cases utilizing M Group carriers.
•Work with Market Leaders and Advanced Design team to design insurance solutions to fill client’s needs. Individual, Multi-Life and Proprietary products design analysis, and due care of carriers and policies, including measurement of inforce blocks of business compared to original projections.
•Work with service/underwriting team to ensure that the case is sold and entered into our database as it was illustrated.

B.Inforce Illustration Review
Prepare inforce illustrations to see how the policy will perform at given criteria. This will either come from the Monthly Service Ticker, Advance Design Team, Client’s request, or Market Leader’s request.

C.Client Service Phone Calls
Take incoming phone calls and correspondence from client and/or client’s advisors, and provide guidance as requested. Inform Market Leader’s of any major issues.

D.Split Dollar Agreements & Split Dollar Spreadsheets

E.Process Monthly Service Ticklers (shared responsibility)

F.Miscellaneous Service Work
Work closely with client and insurance carrier to process and follow up all service related issues

G. Learn and utilize FDP database and Workflow Navigator systems
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
A.Life Insurance background of at least 5 years in administration and servicing of inforce polices preferred
B.Extensive knowledge of insurance products, split dollar, and basic estate planning concepts.
C.Life insurance license and Series 6 and 63 recommended
D.MS Windows and Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as internet proficiency

Additionally, job conditions require ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines at a fast pace. Strong organization skill and attention to detail required.
