Instructor - Medical Billing and Coder

Southwestern College, a division of Lincoln Educational Services, Inc., is seeking Medical Billing and Coding Professionals with four or more years of experience to staff our expanding Allied Health division at our Florence, Kentucky campus. If you possess excellent communication skills, a dedication to academic and personal enrichment, and the enthusiasm to teach your profession to others, we want you to guide our students through our thoroughly developed lesson plans. Previous teaching experience is preferred, and we are currently looking at part-time evening candidate resumes.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified individuals will possess experience in Computerized Billing and Insurance, ICD-9, CPT and CPT-H Coding. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but it is not required as long as you are certified. Degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, or the equivalent preferred. Retired physicians encouraged to apply. Instruction/Teaching and Lab Experience is highly desirable. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. This individual(s) may be teaching in all aspects of the Medical Programs and well as managing the learning activities in the classroom. You will also be responsible to motivate students by demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm; and you will be asked to encourage student participation through questioning, feedback, and classroom/lab involvement.
