Role Description:

Within JPMorgan Asset Management, the Institutional Asset Management (IAM) - Americas business consists of multifunctional, regionally aligned client-focused teams.



A Relationship Manager is responsible for retaining and managing institutional client relationships, serving as an investment expert and advisor, and building the book of business through developing cross sell opportunities, and through new client acquisition.

REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of institutional relationship management, portfolio management/investments, and/or institutional investment sales experience. An MBA and Series 7 are preferred.



Generates results and focuses on increasing and retaining the firm's investment management assets

Leverages relationships and prospects within the middle market for the purpose of generating sales opportunities

Self-motivated to push self and others for consistent results

Establishes effective relationship with banker to promote and identify cross-selling opportunities and obtain referrals for new clients

Analyzes, recommends and presents solutions to IAM clients

Proactively seeks opportunities either through enhancement of current clients' accounts and/or new clients

Displays integrity and trust in all client relationships

Seen as an investment "expert" by the client. Conversely knowledgeable with pension finance, investments, capital markets, fixed-income markets, equities and the state of the industry and any other pertinent topics

Positions and differentiates our products against competitor firms and their products

Efficient utilization of firm resources
