Information Technology / Senior Auditor

The Empire District Electric Co. is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Information Technology / Senior Auditor in the Company’s Internal Audit Department.

This individual’s primary responsibility will be:

Planning and performing operational, financial, and compliance audits with particular emphasis on analysis, evaluation and enhancement of Company information technology systems

Reviewing general information technology controls, change controls and application controls to ensure control design and operation are as effective and efficient as possible

Providing analysis and support to business processes to ensure the Company’s compliance with corporate governance regulations

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a BS Degree in Business, Accounting or Information Technology

3 years experience in accounting, auditing or information technology
