Information Systems Auditor / IT Auditor / Financial Audit Exper

Major accounting firm is currently looking for individuals with IT audit, operational audit or financial audit background. You will have the opportunity to serve as part of a team of professionals delivering quality service to a variety of top-tier clients. Responsibilities include developing work plans and project approaches in the financial audit context and/or consulting world, analyzing state of the art client server systems and multi-platform systems while providing detailed reports on the vulnerability's of these systems to our clients. You will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the attest/assurance process of a client's operations utilizing ABAS practice methodology to assess our client's operations. This will include risk assessment, planning, "review by interview", analytical procedures, and focused reviews of information systems. You will be responsible for conveying solutions to our client's complex business problems through the use of written reports and presentations. The opportunity will be available for you to develop your responsibility in supervising, coaching, developing and leading teams and individual team members.

REQUIREMENTS
Work experience within systems assurance or audit; Big 5 experience a plus;
4 year degree required;
CPA / CISA a plus;
Familiarity with mainframe, client server security and control issues, SAP, Unix, Windows NT, and/or networks;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Commitment to exceptional client service;
Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset;
Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity;
Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management;
Ability to travel to client locations, mostly within the tri-state area. Travel is not extensive.
