Information Assurance Manager - Army

(NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest Management and Technology Consulting companies dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.The BearingPoint Security & Identity Management Team is currently searching for a DoD Security Manager (Army).Location/s: DC Area PreferredRelocation: noPerformance Profile:Candidate will be responsible for the direction of multiple, large or complex Information Assurance projects in support of DoD clients. Responsibilities include managing relationships with clients and frequent / direct contact with the most senior level managers and executives to provide IA technical expertise and project direction. Candidate will have practice management and performance management responsibilities including the overall management of project teams and development and review of staff. Should be comfortable in a matrix environment providing security solutions to account teams.Candidate is expected to have a broad knowledge of current DoD Information Assurance trends including DCID 6/3, DITSCAP, DIACAP, 8500.XX, etc and be able to proactively identify potential security issues in order to advise and consult clients on prevention, monitoring and mitigation strategies. Demonstrated experience winning and managing both large and small scale DoD IA security engagements is essential.Responsibilities:Review and analyze existing C&A packages for completeness and compliance
Participate in client interviews as part of the risk assessment, system categorization and security test and evaluation processes
Develop System security plans, Interconnection Security Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding, system categorization, system test and evaluation
Perform security configuration reviews
Perform risk assessmentsGeneral Requirements:
8+ years IA experience

Must have Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering or Systems Engineering a strong plus)

US Citizenship and able to obtain a Security clearance (required)

CISSP or CISM preferred

Excellent writing and oral communication skills

Excellent proposal writing skills

Prior experience managing projects of 10+ personnel

Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner

Able to work in a fast pace deadline driven environment
