*There are multiple openings for this role.**80% travelFunctions as a team leader or team member to implement, upgrade and support application systems.Assures that all systems are fully tested before implementation into production.Troubleshoots and resolves reported system and application problems in the test and production environments.Documents and describes process and procedures relating to current and future systems environments.Trains and educates users on system functionality and capability.1. Completes assigned tasks per defined project scope, timelines, and budgets for implementations. Works to prescribed methodologies for all project implementations. May work on multiple implementations at any given time.2. Tracks issues and resolutions throughout process while adhering to prescribed escalation procedures.3. Participates in coordinating the transition from implementation to production and application support.4. Develops training materials and trains users on system functionality.5. Develops reports, scripts and forms according to required specifications.6. Documents business and system processes and procedures through the use of industry standard process flow and flow charting techniques.7. Develops detailed interface and program specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Five years experience working in an IT systems and applications environment in a large, multi-facility healthcare system required.One to three years implementation experience in a Meditech environment for financial and administrative modules, including one or more of ABS, ADM, AP, BAR, CA, ESS/BF, FA, GL, MM, MIS, EPI (MRI), NPR, PP, PPM, SCH or associated products such as LSS, Picis, PtCT or Iatric Systems is required.Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following areas:1. Experience with supporting and/or developing IT systems and applications.2. Knowledge of system and application development.3. Proven organizational skills and time management.4. Advanced problem-solving ability.5. Strong vendor negotiation skills.6. Financial management skills.7. Experience with Crystal development tools.8. Knowledge of industry standard practices in IT support function.9. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.10. Familiarity with project management principles.11. Experience working with data conversions and interfaces is preferred.12. Experience with Meditech NPR and Visual Basic scripting tools is preferred.13. Experience in Meditech application support is preferred.Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Clinical or related field.Seven years experience in an IT analyst role may be substituted for the above requirement.Benefits
