IT Risk / SOX Analyst

Classification: Consulting Compensation: $45 to $55 per hour Global Technology compnay is seeking SOX AUDIT/IT RISK consultants.Successful consultants will work/have skills in the following areas:
Corporate financial reporting, controllership and statutory compliance testing.
Design and monitor internal control structures and procedures as mandated by Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and evaluations of business process and internal control design and operating effectiveness
Work with enterprise-wide risk management and internal audit for global financial shared services organizations
Implement COSO, CobiT and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) internal audit methodologies
Evaluate internal controls, policies and procedures
Establish standard audit practices including audit programs and work paper preparation, retention, and disposition
Write and review audit reports
Position-specific Requirements:
Prior experience in the above areas and/or consulting
Subject matter expert in internal controls and internal audit function
Experience with compliance tools/infrastructure development
CPA or CMA, also CIA or other internal controls certification
Finance industry or audit
Process knowledge and demonstrated depth in at least one functional area: O2C, P2P, B2R , Finance transformation
COSO/COBIT knowledge
Understanding of PCAOB, SEC and regulatory climate
Ability to develop controls
Understanding of audit testing process
Risk management and/or internal controls experience
